Frassati reflections began as an email list circulated among a few members of the Frassati Fellowship of NYC. Writers would reflect on the daily scripture readings and the spirituality of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, sharing their spiritual journeys with one another and fostering a spirit of prayer. As the Frassati Fellowship grew, so too did our email list, until eventually hundreds of people—including members, former members, and friends of Frassati alike—were reading our daily reflections.
To accommodate our growing readership and make the reflections more accessible to the wider Frassati community, we have now transitioned to a blog format with email subscriptions.
As members of the Frassati Fellowship of NYC, we strive to emulate our patron, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Though writing, we aim to facilitate prayer and spiritual growth among our readers. Our reflections focus primarily on the Mass readings for the day, as well as on the life and spirituality of Blessed Pier Giorgio, the feasts and solemnities of the Church, and the lives of the saints. We are faithful to the Magisterium and devoted to prayer, scripture, service, and authentic friendship. These fundamental values are what inspire and inform our reflections.
